Newanfield Looking to Help A Charity?

Hi it's Steve Leftley here we would like to hear from or anyone who would like us to play a charity match for this summer.
Last year we helped raise £1200 for the Liverpool's Women Hospital Newborn Appeal with the help of Local Solutions.
The All Stars football team helped get the money by holding a match against the Liverpool Football Club staff.
Ste Leftley who plays in and manages the All Stars team has had personal experience of the life saving service at the hospital and wanted to contribute by purchasing equipment that might help other families.
He said “My youngest son, who was 4 weeks premature due to a car crash, was treated in the intensive care and the staff and facilities were excellent. I decided that I wanted to repay them by raising the profile of the appeal, enabling them to help more premature babies in the unit."
A warm up match in preparation for the main event was held on against Hyper Bar Athletic from Bootle, which is Managed by Steve Leftley Snr. The All Stars won 2-1 with goals from Gary Roberts and Mick Hanlon.
